Before I trusted Christ
I sinned a lot, fulfilling every lust of the flesh, breaking 9 out of God's 10 commandments. I trusted in myself, I lived for myself, and I was the greediest person you might ever meet. I lied, I cheated, I stole, and I committed unspeakable sins, against my own body and against God. I was on the highway to Hell. Literally.
Since I've trusted Christ
Jesus saved me. He gave me a measure of faith. He planted spiritual seeds in my life and those seeds have taken hold of good soil. I started reading the Bible, and I have grown in God's grace. I believe God's words are truthful. I trusted in Christ. One day I prayed to Christ and he answered me within minutes. That made me feel loved and heard. The prayer answered was a miracle. God gave me a miracle.
Since I've trusted Christ, my life continues on a daily basis to be blessed. God is so loving and caring, for each of us, that it just blows my mind away with his great love towards us and me/
I have learned to love God. How do I know I love God? because I keep his commandments. I love the Lord my God with all my heart, mind, soul and strength and I honestly love my neighbors as I love myself. All this is only possible because I have trusted in Jesus Christ and I can do all thing through Jesus who strengthens me. Apart from Jesus, I would be my old sorry self – self, self, self.
