Before I trusted Christ
As a kid, my mother took me to church every Sunday. As I grew up I stopped going as much as I did as a kid. Growing up, I played lots of sports, Imean I played everything. You name it I played it and was very good at them, not knowing how blessed I was and still am today. See I came from a single parent home with six girls and two boys, but my mother is and has been a good mother, and a blessing at that. God has been good to us.
How I trusted Christ
It took for me to come to prison before I believed or trusted in Jesus Christ. See my blessing was always there, and I overlooked them. I should have been dead a long time ago, but by the grace of God, I am still here. Since I've trusted in him, I can see the blessings now, and my prayers that God is answering and how my faith is growing every day of my life. Plus God has given me the opportunity to share my faith with others. If it was not for the Lord where would I be today. Thank God.
Since I've trusted Christ
My eyes have been opened to things I would have never seen, having the trust in Christ changes your whole life in the way you see things. Now I'm not mistake free or nothing like that, but I'm growing in the right way, with the truth and light of Christ guiding me. I can pray for things or people now and God will answer my prayers. I see it happening in my life right now, and that is nothing but the Grace of God at work in my life. But I want to grow in Christ Jesus, by Faith. Growth is coming along with my obedience, studying and my willingness to do God's will. I know through Jesus Christ everything is possible and I'm going to keep pressing on until I go on to be with him in heaven.
